I have recently upgraded to a Fitbit 3 - am finding that when I do a timed walk using the app the steps seem to be double counted I.e. the steps on the app are showing as much higher than on the device - does anybody know how to fix this please ?

Hi @ManOnAMission and welcome back to the forums.
Thank you for your message and I'm sorry to hear about this situation.
It seems you might have MobileTrack enabled.
MobileTrack uses your phone's sensors to count your steps. This is useful when you've left your Fitbit at home (for example, charging). Make sure MobileTrack isn't enabled. Steps recorded with your mobile phone may overwrite those recorded with your Inspire 3.
In the Fitbit app, tap the Devices icon (top left).
You'll then see the devices linked to your account.
If you see the Active Mobile Device (Smartphone) option, tap it and remove it from your account.
