This is a feedback to the fitbit inspire 3 team: need to improve the quality of the fitbit inspire 3 charging contact point.
My fitbit stopped charging. After checking and trying w/ my sister's fitbit (she also got one 1 year later, because of my recommendation): using my charger to charge her fitbit, using her charger to charge my fitbit, we concluded it's the charging contact on the back of the fitbit. After comparison, We can tell that 3 of 4 charging contact metal have gone or been worn out.
I bought the Inspire 3 less than 2 years ago and it stopped working because of the charging contact metal. The quality needs to be improved.

Hi, @2020user , I think it would just be worth double checking that the Fitbit is actually continually connected. I do find that mine easily loses connection if there is any strain on the charging cable. When I set mine to charge I always make sure that there is not any pressure at all on the connection (cable NOT dangling! - and that the charging screen - which shows per cent of charge - is the last screen visible before it times out.
Otherwise, it may not be charging at all. This is not due to defective contacts, just a failure to make sure the contacts are continuously engaged. Worth checking out!

Oh, yes, I carefully checked before I post this message. I check many times, spread from several days. And also asked my sister to do it just to have a different person and see if it's the same. And each time it's the same behavior. It was not charging at all. I was busy, so no exercise during those days. Everyday the battery went down until today is below 28%.

MarioSFitbit, thanks for providing the product feedback link. I was not aware there is a separate forum for product feedback.
Do I need to re-post to the product feedback forum about the Inspire 3 charge contact quality? I think this will benefit many people in the future.

Hi @2020user! Thank you for your message!
It is indeed better to post the feedback directly on that forum, as it is monitored in order to take into account our users' recommendations for Fitbit products and services.
As a suggestion, you could create the post there, and then share the link here so that more users can see your proposal and vote on it, which would help your idea gain popularity.
I greatly value your communication and participation.
