I recently got an inspire 3 and was using it with no issues until yesterday, when o ly parts of the screen seem to be working - it looks like there are black and blue areas over parts of the screen that cover the display (picture trying to read the text in a magic 8 ball)
I've tried restarting but doesn't seem to have made any difference!

Sad to hear that you're having an issue with your Inspire 3. As you've already tried restarting your device without success, I'd suggest contacting Fitbit support for this is looking like a defective device:
