Dear Support.

My Alt HR stopped working. I liked its large fonts for heart rate, steps and so on. I just ordered and received an Inspire HR on your sale Nov 27.  I can hardly read the font size for anything but the clock! The device is dangerous to use while walking or jogging as it takes so long to read it. I am a 66 yr old senior. I need reading glasses to read it. What were you thinking of designing it this way? Its a terrible design and your customer service said that I cannot change the font and you have no devices that have a large fount, like the clock font, to see any results.

I am disappointed in you Fitbit. I have wasted my time doing research, ordering, talking to customer service, now sending this comment. Now I have to go through the long process and effort to return.

I may order the old Alt HR on Amazon but it costs more than most other trackers you have. Why is that?

Fitbit discontinued the Alta HR several years ago.  Anyone selling one on Amazon is a third party seller.  There is no warranty with any device bought this way.  Rechargeable batteries degrade, even in a sealed package.  I understand why you like this device.  But don’t buy a “new” one because it’s an old one.

Thank you Laurie. Mine stopped suddenly. It didn't show signs of weakness much. I've offered $20 on Kijijji to buy a used one but few out there on resell market in Province OF Ontario. Just 2 offered with 90 minute one way drive. This new Fitbit INSPIRE 3 I can't read much the print so small. It gives the data on my cell ok. But even heart rate monitor just a little speck! Crazy design.

Personally, I think Fitbit needs some software developers or team managers that are of a certain age.  Those of us that need reading glasses!!!

I agree and the red writing on black back ground contravenes WCAG guidelines as colour contrast exceeds limits

all in all not a great device

I had totally agree. I had the Fitbit inspire so the first one the original and the font on that was perfect.  I like the way the time the heart rate and the steps I like the size and the way it displayed it the display and the size is too small. The only thing that’s the right size is the clock I have changed two different styles of the display so that you can either have it set so that it shows time and steps or just time and heart rate or it can show time steps and then you tap it and it will show the other information I’m used to the original one where are you saw heart rate steps, and time on one display that you have to tap the screen to see all the different banks, and it’s too small. And the clock is big but the width they display. The clock is different than before. Like the time it’s different on the inspire three versus the original inspire. I guess I liked the original one because it show tight steps and heart rate all at once you didn’t have to tap it to see the different thinks. It was just on one screen.

But yeah, I didn’t realize the inspire three is just not as good as the original. I never had the inspire to because that one seemed not much different than the spire one like the first one. The only difference between inspire2, and the original inspire, was inspired to had a color screen, and then they had the inspired three on sale and I bought it and I was really disappointed, the display the shows the time stops heart rate it’s not on one screen you gotta tap through it and it’s too small. I’m in my 30s and I am saying it’s too small of a font and there are different styles of the display you can change, but they’re still not great , it’s just horrible. And my other complaint is BS by her three I don’t wear it every day there are some days I don’t wear it some days. I’m at home all day and I’m not going anywhere so I’m not gonna wear it I only wear it when I’m going somewhere so even if I go one or two days I’m not wearing it it’s still drains the battery. Like the battery life on his spire three is the same battery life as the original inspire but I feel fake because it’s a color screen instead of black-and-white it drains more I don’t know I can use it one day and it could be at 100% and maybe I get home and it’s at like 80 or something like that. I will put it on the table in my room and the next time I decide to wear it, it could already be at 45% or 39% that makes no sense to me or even at 50% makes no sense to me what it was sitting on my table for two days or one day without using it and it put it on and it went from 80% to that so draining battery even when I wasn’t wearing it. I think it’s because of the color screen I didn’t have a issue with the original inspire, which was not a color screen supposedly the entire 3+ just the time he is the original one, but the differences the original one wasn’t a color screen I don’t know if that makes any difference there are a few other things added, but I almost feel like I shouldn’t have bought the inspire three the original inspire was fine. There was a couple features in the inspire three that I liked, and my other complaint is, the band that comes with it, give me a rash, and I have yet to find an alternative band for the inspire three that fits my tiny wrist and is a bulky and give me a rash that’s hard to find

Agree with everything you say.

I have grown to get use to Inspire. Yes when working out I have to tap tap tap...I rarely use the walking feature or the exercise feature. Its cute that it shows our text messages and even emails when we are exercising. Im not sure I need it as my phone is always nearby anyway.
