Fitbit export data missing steps only?

I'm trying to export my fitbit data, which has gone well besides the fact that the export file (.zip) is missing the "steps" data. I have HR and O2, which are great, but my steps are completely missing from the same timeframe. The fitbit app on my phone shows that the watch was tracking my steps each day, and I can even see the steps done by the hour, but i wanted the minute-by-minute step data that I've exported in the past. Clearly the data is available, but it just simply won't export. I've tried to reset the watch and phone, redownload the app, but nothing has fixed it over the countless times that I've exported the data.

Is there a person that I could call to figure this out? Or anyone have any fixes?

The step function isn't a benefit you can use with the Inspire 3. It's capabilities are minimal.

Since what you are asking is about the fitbit app, not the Inspire 3, may I ask. Android or iOS. 

• Are steps the primary stat? 
• Are you sure that you included the step count?
