Fitbit "find my phone" and "water lock" feature doesn't work - Inspire 3

I've been using Inpire 3 since it was released now. and since day one "find my phone" and "water lock" feature didnt work. Find my phone works almost rarely, I could be holding my phone, connected to wifi or my phone data, and the error "couldnt find phone, please move closer" appears. How can I get closer than I already am. The water lock feature hasn't worked once, it's almost as if the "firmly tap to enable feature" was never tested. I spoke with fitbit agents and they had me reinstall the fitbit app, restart my devices, reinstall apps within fitbit, and none of them worked. I even sent them video of my fitbit not working. I regret buying this to be honest. I had an Inspire 2 before and it delivered what it promised.

@Tanziha — I thought the double-tap to enable ‘water lock’ wasn’t working for me either, until I realized that I first have to swipe down on the screen a couple of times to bring up ‘Water Lock, turn on.’ Maybe that’s the problem? If not, try resetting your inspire from the settings (grear icon) menu on the inspire.

Find my phone seems to be working for me. I’m using in iPhone 13. It connects via Bluetooth, so the problem has to be related to that somehow rather than your phone’s WiFit and data settings.  I suggest removing your Inspire from the Fitbit app and then adding it back using the “+ Set Up a Device” option — you can remove the Inspire and add it back as a new device from the screen that comes up when you click your icon at the top left of Home Screen of the app on your phone.

I hope that helps.
