I've stopped using my Inspire 3 and would like to pass it along to someone else. Can the new owner/user set it up on their own account, or is it forever tied to me? How does this work in the most effective way? Would I delete all my data from that device (not going to use another Fitbit)? Would I "disconnect" the serial number from my account? Delete my account? Thanks in advance.

Not sure necessary, but I would also from phone app Today screen, tap battery icon at top left, then from "Connected to Fitbit" tap your device "Inspire 3", then trash can at top right to remove from app and disconnect from phone's bluetooth.

Okay. Where did you find that screen shot? I was not able to search the fitbit.com site.

In the Inspire 3 manual, remembering some models have something like that under Settings. To see manual, Help at top of this page, then click on Inspire 3 takes to Inspire 3 help page which has link to manual.
edited: Although I don't think erasing is really necessary. There's not really much "personal" data stored on watch, just the stats that you can see but don't think anything identifying you. And once a new user connects it, all that data gets erased anyway. I guess if you were giving it a friend, you might not want then to be seeing whatever stats are visible, not sure if weight is there. But safer to have it erased just the same I suppose.
