Google Assistant & Fitbit Inspire 3 Activity Tracker

Today I have set up my Fitbit Inspire 3 Activity Tracker. Took me much longer than expected due to being visually impaired.

I cannot see the watch unless I use my hand-held magnifier, but with my Samsung phone, i can use the app fully via 'Android Select To Speak' and the 'Triple Tap' features.

I am wanting to speak to Google Assistant and ask questions such as:

  • How many steps have I done today?
    - Currently this is displaying Google Fit data, I'll be wearing the watch more than having my phone in my pocket.
  • What is my current heart rate
  • How far have I walked today? (And other days?)

I'm hoping there is a somewhat easy way to connect and start speaking such things, I'm not exactly sure what the capabilities of this specific watch can do, whether there is a list of Google Assistant interaction commands or whatnot?

Thank you for any help,

Tyler

@Tyler.25 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message and feedback.

The Inspire 3 does not have the Google Assistant available as this not feature a microphone to 'hear' your commands.

Maybe your Samsung phone does have access to a text to voice feature, that might read the app information for you, but to get more information about that , you should refer to Samsung. They'll be more than happy to help you further with that.

I am aware that the watch does not have a microphone, more that I want to speak to my phone and for it to give me information about what data the watch is collecting, said commands I want to speak to my phone, however I'm not sure if any commands have been built to work with the watch.

Our kettle doesn't have a microphone, but I can ask Google Assistant "What is the current kettle temperature" and it will tell me, as Google has been linked to the app for this. Is it not available to link the FitBit App to Google?
