When starting a walk from the Fitbit app on my iphone the distance and gps map are completely wrong and have been since I had to switch my Fitbit account to a google account. The gps map shows my route cutting diagonally thru blocks of people’s houses.I simultaneously tracked my walks on the fitbit app and the Strava app and the strava map and distance are correct.
please do not try to tell me that the gps signal may have been weak or faulty or that the fact that I was running 2 apps on gps were the problem because:
1. The error was occurring before running a 2nd ap to troubleshoot.
2. the problem started after switching to a google account.
3. the problem doesn’t occur when I start my walk from my inspire3, in which case both the map and distance match on both apps.
the Fitbit app was a decent enough app originally, and I’d hate to think that it was purposely sabotaged, but it’s becoming harder for me to avoid that conclusion.
