I start my yoga sessions lying on my back then crossing my legs and pulling my knees to my chest. My HR reading begins correctly in the low 60s, but as I raise my arms to grab my knees the Inspire 3 starts reporting my HR as skyrocketing when it clearly is not and barely budges. The Inspire has listed a reading as high as 140 before I either ignore it or take it off. I've tested and it happens even if I simply raise my arm to look at the screen.
Within moments of sitting up the HR reading falls to where I'd expect it. (Usually. Once it got "stuck" and I had to restart the Inspire.)
I've read all the tips and tricks here on the forum and elsewhere and it keeps happening. I have no doubt blood flow to the raised arms increases, but not to the degree the Inspire shows. (I've tested it using a pulseox device attached to the index finger of the same arm.)
Is this a bug in the way the Inspire tracks HR, or is my device defective? (I've had other issues such as during the cooldown after a cardio session the Inspire will show my HR skyrocketing when in fact it's going down.)
