Heart Rate Timer

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I want to use my Inspire 3 Fitbit to do the following:

1. Let me know when I have hit a heart rate of 150 bpm.

2. Let me know when I have maintained a heart rate of 150bmp (or greater) for 15 minutes (or some other duration I can set).

(I'm thinking one of the exercise options may be able to do this, but they seem to start before I hit the 150 bpm heart rate target I set in the app and give data about my heart rate after the fact rather than during the exercise.)

Failing that, I would like to have it continuously display just my heart rate on the screen so I can set a timer on my phone. (I have found some clock faces that include heart rate, but the heart rate info turns off after a few seconds and just the time stayed on the screen.)

I'm new to Fitbit, so don't hesitate to explain it as you would to a child.

Hello @Iota and welcome to the Community.  I'm sorry, but no Fitbit model can be programmed to alert you to a specific heart rate or notify you of a time duration at or above that target.

Here are my thoughts.  When you use the Exercise app, the screen shows a top, middle, and bottom stat.  The middle stat shows a number of different stats and you tap or swipe to see the different stats.  Heart rate is one of them.  This shows your live heart rate in the largest font available.  In addition, you can set an Always On setting in each shortcut.  An example for running:

  • Go to your Exercise app on the Inspire 3, open it and select Run
  • Swipe up on the tiny "^" to go to the settings
  • Toggle on the Always on display

When you start your run, you need to tap or swipe to make heart rate your middle stat.  I can do this on my Sense 2 and the Inspire 3 user manual says you should be able to do this, too.

Don't be afraid to ask more questions if this isn't clear to you.  We are here to help.  Especially new members.
