Heart rate seems way off on inspired 2

This may sound weird, but I take my Inspire 2 and strap it against my ankle when I walk the treadmill. For the last 2 weeks I have had my heart rate register in the 180’s and as high as 208. I do not feel my heart rate so fast so I think something is wrong. At point I saw it on my phone that high, got off the treadmill and use a blood pressure cuff to check and it was 110, but the fit bit also came back at 110. It could not have been more than 1 minute, so again I doubt it would drop that fast. Also, my app shows my heart rate the other day as high as 175, but when I look at the graph that shows when it was that high it doesn’t show that high. Is my Fitbit broken, but what about the app? I am confused. Thanks

Hi, @Doke99 if you are wearing your Inspire 2 on your ankle then you are not wearing it as expected or advised and there is a very good chance that your heart rate will not be correctly calculated.  In fact, it may be picking up the cadence of your feet on the treadmill rather than your pulse.

I would strongly advise wearing it on your wrist, as per instructions, for best results.
