Heart rate stopped working on my Inspire 3

ANSWERED

After the upgrade my fit bit face won’t light up and the “receiving” lights on the flip side do not light up. I have tried resetting, allowing to completely drain the battery and recharging. I can’t see the face to reset that way. Any ideas?

@tfetzer Thanks for getting back to me and for the details provided.

If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
  2. Tap your Fitbit device image.
  3. Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.

If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device once again as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hi there, @tfetzer. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 3 stopped showing the LED lights on the back after the update. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend resetting the heart rate settings on your Inspire 3 by following the steps below:

  • Switch the Heart Rate settings from On to Off and manually sync your Inspire 3. To switch the heart rate settings on your Inspire 3, from the main screen of your Fitbit device, open the Settings app > Heart Rate > tap to turn the setting OFF.
  • Once it's done, manually sync your Inspire 3. From the Today Tab, tap Devices > device image. Tap Sync Now.
  • Next, switch it from Off to On and manually sync your Inspire 3 once again.
  • Once it's done, restart your Inspire 3 one more time.
  • Next, confirm that your tracker is snug on your wrist (the lights shouldn't be visible). We also recommend when you're not exercising, wear the tracker just above the wrist bone.

Hi!
Thank you so much. The fit bit screen will not light up at all although it vibrates. I can’t do anything on the face it won’t wake up. I have tried to reset it from the charger etc.
