How accurate is the pulse reading on inspire 3

My Inspire 3 seems to correlate fairly well with my finger pulse oximeter, but the oximeter has an instantaneous HR reading and it appears that the Inspire 3 uses a running average of several HR readings to update the HR curve on the app for smoothing.

Hello @Berty123 and welcome to the community. Fitbits do well in the low to moderate heart rate ranges. Accuracy at higher rates varies and Fitbits can over- or under-estimate your heart rate. There are two sites that have independent reviews. They are dcrainmaker and The Quantified Scientist. They test near every brand and model of fitness tracker and smartwatch.

My Inspire 3 seems kind of sensitive to where I wear it It seems to work best a full two fingers up my arm from my wrist bone. From time to time I get wildly inaccurate readings showing large jumps or drops in heart rate or excessive noise in the readings. I always take the readings with a grain of salt.
