How do I customize exercise options on Inspire 3?

After update I have about 40 exercise options on my wrist, how to remove?

Firmware version 63.20001.210.26

On the device itself, when I go to exercise options, there are about 40 listed, and I only use a Run or Walk.

Can the others be removed and how do I do it?

Also, the Exercise Shortcuts listed in the app doesn't show in the correct order on the wrist device.

TIA, Dennis

@wobble_2   I understand your question.  My Sense 2 has all 40 shortcuts since its release.  As you use these shortcuts, they will separate themselves between your Recent and everything else.  Walk and run will always be at the top.  We can't remove the rest.

Hi, @wobble_2 , following the update you should now have a total of 16 options on your wrist.  However, you should only see 6 of these unless you press “more”.

You should be able to reorder the exercise shortcuts so that the ones on top in your app are on top on your wrist.  From the opening screen of the app click on the device icon top left (smartphone and watch).  On the next page click on the picture of the Inspire 3 and then choose “exercise shortcuts”.  If you use an Android phone the just drag the 3 lines on the left to reorder.  If you use iOS you will need to click edit first, and then the handles to reorder are on the right.

As for removing the extra ones, it looks like Fitbit are experimenting a bit with updates, and the app is not yet showing the newly added activities.  Until that changes you can only remove the ones shown on the app.  To remove shortcuts on Android swipe left.  To remove shortcuts in iOS click edit and then the red circle with a minus sign.

In all cases be sure to sync your Inspire 3 whenever you make any changes in the app.

I hope this helps.  Welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks Julie_G,

On my wrist;

I see walk, bike as my first 2 options, followed by MORE, when I select MORE I see an additional 39 options.

In the Android app in my shortcuts, I have only 2 options, Run is first, followed by Walk.

I have performed Sync multiple times, with the same results.

Run is option #24 in the list of 39 more options.  It is irritating to scroll through many options that I don't care about and will never use.  Can these be removed?

@wobble_2   You can’t remove the shortcuts you don’t use.  Although this update puts all the shortcuts on the device, your shortcuts self populate with your most recently used shortcuts at the top, with everything else below.

@Julia_G  There’s a firmware update rolling out.

Thanks LZeeW,

Yes, Inspire 3 was just updated yesterday.

I'm not talking about deleting shortcuts from the Android app, I'm referring to all the +40 exercise options that show up on the fitbit device itself under Exercise.

Thanks LZeeW, I see  after a run this morning that it is now at the top of the list on the Fitbit device itself after I select Exercise.

Understand the others cannot be removed.  Thanks for the help!
