Hi, @SteamboatK , you have two options for this.
If you want to see your heart rate continuously, first choose a clock face with heart rate on the main screen. You can see all available clock faces in your app. Instructions for changing your clock face are here . When you have an appropriate clock face, from the opening screen on your Inspire 3 swipe down until you come to the settings menu. Tap to open and then tap “display”. Swipe up to find “always on” and tap to select. You will get a warning about impacting battery life. Choose “got it”.
The other option is if you really only want to see your heart rate while exercising. In this case swipe to find the Exercise app. You will see that there are settings options for many of the exercises, and one of them is to have the screen always on. Then just make sure that Heart Rate is your main stat during exercise. Be sure to start your activity using the exercise app when you are ready to begin, and the screen will stay on until you end your exercise. For more information on tracking exercises, please see this help article .
As mentioned above, the screen always on will impact battery life. Obviously always on during exercise will have less impact than always on all day.

Thank you for such a detailed answer. I used your advice and had my Fitbit showing heart rate.
I was going to a hut at high elevation and knew I needed to keep my bpms below 120.
I also needed to conserve battery so your advice was spot on
Thanks again
