How do I turn off email notifications on my Inspire 3?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I'm new to Fitbit and just purchased the Inspire 3.

I have email notifications set to Outlook, however I have disabled the email notifications. Although it should be disabled/turned off, I am getting email notifications on my Inspire 3.

How can I stop the Inspire 3 from vibrating with email notifications from Outlook. I get several hundred emails a day from my job so this is getting annoying.

Update: To be clear, I have DISABLED email notifications, but turning it off does nothing.

Hi there, @Devggg. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that you're still receiving email notifications on your Inspire 3. I understand how annoying this can be, I will do my best to help you with this!

To better assist you, please confirm that you've turned off the email notification on your Inspire 3 by going to the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon > your device. Tap Notifications and go to E-mail, Text, Calls notifications and you'll see the option to disable them and make sure to sync your Inspire 3 to save the changes.

On a side note, please keep in mind that you can choose 1 app per category. The most common apps for these features are:

  • Calls—Dialer
  • Text messages—Messages
  • Calendar events—Calendar
  • Emails—Gmail

However, for the "Emails" section you can only select your primary text messaging app (that can be Gmail, Outlook, your phone's default email app or any other). Nevertheless, in "App Notifications" section you can select more apps, for example if you decided that for your primary Email app you want it to be Outlook, in App Notifications you can enable other email apps. With this being said, please check both sections and make sure you don't have Outlook still turned on.

If you'd like to temporarily disable all notifications, you can also turn on the Do Not Disturb Mode on the settings app of your Inspire 3.

I have already done the steps you suggested. I double checked again today.

I do NOT have email notification enabled. It is set to Gmail, and disabled entirely. Nothing in "App Notifications" is checked.
