After a firmware update of my Inspire 3, to version: 63.20001.210.26, my fitbit is almost in constant auto-recognition mode... and i can't do anything unless i "finish" the activity. one of reasons why i wear a fitbit all the time is also so i don't have to wear a watch which is not possible anymore. It's so bad i'm looking for other trackers

Swipe left or right on the screen of your Fitbit to find the Exercise app.
Click on each exercise, scroll down to Auto Start and click to toggle it off.

Welcome to the forums, @cristina_skov.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I understand how you're feeling and I'm sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. Just to confirm, have you made sure to turn off all SmartTrack activities? This feature allows your tracker to auto-detect your activities based on the movements of your arms.
That being said, if you haven't done so, I'd recommend checking this help article which describes the steps to turn off/on SmartTrack activities.

This new feature really frustrates me. Especially because there's no way to turn it off.

@cristina_skov That firmware updated added a new feature that turns on the Exercise app for selected exercises. They are walk, run, bike, elliptical, rowing, and spinning. @Extreme_One has the right answer for you. You must turn them off in each shortcut.
This feature is different from the SmartTrack activities that you control in the Fitbit app.
