Does anyone know how to disable the 'calories burned' estimator?

Don't think you can turn off calorie calculation, but, not quite the same thing, but did you look for a clock face that just doesn't show calorie burn?

I would like to know how many calories are being burned, however, it is not accurate. . . it is too high. I read to go to settings/preferences/calorie estimation to disable. I guess then it would show a more accurate number? Maybe it can't be done.

Hi, @Lulu62, welcome, in my experience calorie counts are more or less in line with results on other devices. I wear PW2 - which uses the Fitbit app and many of the Fitbits. I swim daily with a second device by a well-known manufacturer and generally get a close match (+/- 20 calories in a 700-calorie swim) You tell us your results are not accurate, what kind of discrepancy are you seeing? It shows ike 2000 calories burned when I walked 10,000 steps. Would be nice, but not accurate.

Hi, @Lulu62 Can you confirm where you are seeing this figure, note the comments about BMR in the link I posted earlier.
