Husband can’t set up account on app

Hi! I have had a Fitbit for many years. My husband got a watch, and when he went to download the app, there is no option to ‘set up account’ there is only the option to log into account. He has never set up an account before! Any ideas before I return his watch?

Hello @Banana123456 and welcome to the Community.  According to this Help article, he will get a 'Continue as a new user' option when he taps on the Log in option.  The rest seems self explanatory (or maybe not).

As a long time user, you might or might not have migrated your Fitbit Account to a Google account.  New users must use a Google Account.  If you haven't migrated, you will need to migrate in order to be Friends.

Yeah he has to sign in with google, if he doesn’t have one, he will have to make one to use the watch.
