I’ve had my inspire 3 since January and it was perfect until today

I’ve always been happy that a lot of the problems mentioned on this sub has never happened with my Fitbit. Until today, that is.

I went to log two different treadmill runs on the app and the second one would NOT stick. It would disappear after two second (also the times didn’t overlap so it couldn’t be that) finally I got it to stick. An hour later, there were 5 runs logged and my step and calorie count were bugging like crazy. Deleted the extra ones. Go back to look and all were deleted! And icing on the cake, I looked at my Saturday run and it says I was below zone for all of the run! Which definitely wasn’t the case, I was at peak hr zone for a ton of it but it seems that hr information got deleted.

Anyway, I like the inspire’s small rectangular shape and garmin has a vivosmart 4 that’s the same way. Anyone have that? It’s on sale so may snag

Hi, @kutty7, welcome to the community, I'm not clear on the steps you have taken here but it seems you may have a syncing issue. These articles walk you through the process How do Fitbit devices sync their data? and Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

You say you went to log the treadmill runs, I assume you have this set up in the exercise shortcuts where you swipe left from the clock face>exercise>swipe up to treadmill>start arrow, on completion pause>finish>swipe up to & touch "Done".

The alternative is to allow your Inspire 3 to auto-recognize your activity. From the "Today" screen touch your icon in the top left>Activity & wellness>Exercise> I suggest you check "Run" (others in the community are avid treadmill users & may offer an alternative) make sure the auto-recognize slider is on and runs longer than is set at an appropriate level, default is 15 minutes. Next time you use your treadmill just start up & on completion, the device recognizes you've finished & will record the activity the next time you sync (you can force a sync by sliding your finger down the "Today" screen & releasing)

I hope this helps but if you are still stuck please post here again.

Cheers
