Fitbit has improper heart zones set on the app, making the active zones not accurate.
My husband is 24 years old and according to fit bit formulaThe HR target zone 50 to 80%: 100 to 170bpm (20 years). And the average maximum HR at 100%: 200bpm (20 years). But his heat zones are 151 for peak and 106 for fat burn. The peak is 25%far from the max HR.
How is that even possible? It’s like the app is calculating his HR as if he’s 50yo.
He walks and is counting Fat burn, he reaches 115 active zones daily without exercising at all.
What’s the point of this device if it’s so inaccurate?I just hope this feedback will be viewed and this issue will be solved.
