Incorrect Pace Times

Over the last several runs I have taken, the Fitbit app has been displaying wildly inaccurate pace times, as you can see from the screenshot below. I'm no math expert, but those lap times do not add up to a 13:53 average pace. The audio prompts are correct, so the correct average pace is getting recorded somewhere, but not displayed on the app properly. This is Strike Two with Fitbit over the last few weeks, along with displaying runs as walks. After 10 years with no major issues, they are beginning to pile up, and I am beginning to research other fitness trackers.

The average pace calculation is definitely incorrect. You can see I stopped by run at 0.01km after 3km so it started the pace for the 4th km. Therefore, i ran an extra 0.01km at a 10min pace. All 3 kilometres were below a 7’30” pace yet it shows my average pace as 7’51”. I believe what they did was calculate the average of each kilometre instead of dividing the total time by the total distance. This is unacceptable. I have been a Fitbit user for years but am now looking at garmin once this Fitbit kicks the bucket.
