I realize the Fitbit is not a medical device but when I first got it -- it routinely showed my pulse ox at 95. Today it dropped down to 93 and is stuck there. I have a pulse oximeter so of course I checked and it's actually 98. (At repeated checks). Is this typical? I've only had this a few days but not feeling very impressed. I connected it to Fitness Pal but I'm not even sure what it's tracking as I bike and it seems to take that as steps. Wondering if I should be using a Garmin? ☹️

Best AnswerYour Fitbit just measures your SpO2 overnight while you are sleeping, and will display that same value all day long. Your fingertip pulse ox is showing your instantaneous SpO2. And there is no need to be concerned with it being a lower number at night.
