I like to use the Fitbit as a watch, and would like to glance at it without moving around to access the time. However, the always on clock face is much brighter than the rest of the watch when I have it on dim. It is distracting and sucks the battery life. If I press the button it will dim to show me more details. If I adjust the settings to make the watch at dim/medium, it does not affect the always-on brightness. Additionally, I have changed the settings, turned on the always on display, restarted the device, and switched these steps' order to see if it will work. Nothing helps.

Hi there, @ShaeHay. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
Please note that the description you gave is how this feature is supposed to work. If you have Always-on Display enabled the screen won't remain "dim" even if you have set it to be so. The only way to have your screen brightness set to normal or dim is if you turn off the Always-on Display. For more information, see How do I see the time on my Fitbit device? and Change screen & brightness setting
