Hello All. Recently I tried out the exercise "Bike" feature on the inspire 3 a few times. The end results are many times inaccurate. Most show the total time but the: Distance (milage), AVG speed are incorrect. Also the GPS map is cut short and does not show my full ride event .....only a small portion. It's supposed to use the GPS from my phone. Only a few local short rides have been correct but not the longer 25+ miles out in the rural areas. Anyone know more about this? Thank you!

Hi, @AnthonyCyclist1 , unfortunately using the connected GPS from the phone relies on a continuous connection between your phone and the Fitbit, AND a continuous connection with the GPS. Although it will try to reconnect with your phone, unfortunately once the GPS connection is lost, there is no instruction for it to try to reconnect. If you are biking 25 miles or more I think the likelihood of a break in the GPS signal (due to tall buildings or heavy tree cover or some other environmental factor) is highly likely. This is the most likely explanation for your GPS working on short rides but not on longer ones.
For your requirements you may need a more sophisticated fitness tracker than the Inspire 3. The Fitbit Charge 6 and above have built in GPS chips and do not rely on your phone’s chip.
Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android

Thank you for that detailed response. I had a feeling it was the GPS signal. I do use a more sophisticated head-unit for cycling and I still wonder how it never loses the signal while out cycling in rural areas. I do like the fitbit inspire very much and primarily use it for walking steps as well as sleep numbers. It's comfortable to wear too.... but I was using the bike exercise feature so that it would add to calorie burn and general "activity" progress. Thanks!
