I appreciate your message, and I''m sorry to hear that you are unable to see the screen of your Inspire 3. I'll be glad to suggest you some advice. 

Could you please go to the full list of settings on your device ? Swipe down from the clock screen and open the Settings app. Swipe up to check the full list of settings, and tap the brightness setting to adjust it.
