Inspire 3 clocks my daily runs on a 3.5 mile trail with huge variations in distance, usually up to a mile fewer. I've been walking/running this trail for 3 years, same way, same time, and my AltaHR counted it perfectly until last summer after going strong for 8 years! I've had this Inspire 3 for only 8 months, and can never depend on the distances it records, even though the step count is right. What's going on?

Hi @HeyitsDee, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with the distance accuracy of your Inspire 3. I appreciate your loyalty towards our products.
If you feel that your step count and distance are inaccurate, confirm the following are correct in the Fitbit app:
Since you mentioned the step count is accurate, maybe the issue is with the height and stride length. We use height to estimate your walking and running stride lengths, you may want to measure and manually adjust these values if your legs are longer or shorter than average.
For more details, see How do I manage my Fitbit profile? and Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account
