Inspire 3 - Not tracking anything

Hi my wife got me a inspire 3 yesterday but it won’t track a heartbeat or sleep only counts steps I’ve tried everything it says to do and still not working

@J14hob , a warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message. 

Could you please describe, what you already tried, so that I don't ask you to do it again, unless is necessary?

Do the green LEDs blink?
How did you tried the restart? Over the menu or with the help of the button on the charging cable?
Do you see the data on the tracker but not on the app or neither of them?

In the meantime: please make sure that the Inspire 3 is on wrist mode and not on clip mode. This can be changed on the quick settings. 
To change the setting just tap on it.

I have done both the restarts done a new update and every other thing it said to try on the app and no it doesn’t show heartbeat or sleep on the device or the app green led only comes on when I move the watch

@J14hob, Thank you for your reply ! Please  swipe down from the clock screen. 
Make sure that Don't disturb is off. 

Keep scrolling down, and tap on the settings app (gear icon)

Search for the heart rate . 

Tap on it to turn it off. Sync your Inspire 3 with the app. 
Tapp again on the setting to turn it on. 
Don't forget to sync your device again, so that the changes are saved.

Seriously, should NOT have to restart this thing EVERY DAY. That is a flaw in the device.

These canned responses are irritating. I, like others, have done all of the typical processes to try and get things working properly. NONE WORK! i was given this device for one reason.. to TRACK MY SLEEP! IT DOESN'T WORK!

It doesn't work for any tracking at all.  I have been sitting at my desk for the last hour plus and I have suddenly tracked 2000 steps. Its amazing how many steps I can take without moving. It isn't arm movements either. I do not flap my arms when I am typing on the keyboard or in a zoom meeting.

Hello good morning… so I’m following along because i’m having the same issue. Just got this last night and biggest reason i purchased this is to track my sleep. 

Mine will not allow me to slide the heart rate button - I’m tapping it, touching it anyway i can and it won’t turn on.

The ‘worn on wrist’ and ‘clip on mode’ are backward. I just figured it out. When it says ‘turn on WORN on wrist’ it's in fact already on.

As soon as I realized that, I went back to setting and sure enough the heart rate button was active. 🙄
