I have a treadmill under my standing desk that I use to walk on while working on my laptop. Will the Inspire 3 track my steps if I'm typing or using the mouse instead of swinging my arms? TIA

@Dadbodfit your Fitbit relies on the motion of your arms to count steps. It can't count steps when you are using a computer and your arms are not moving. You might consider wearing your Fitbit on your ankle or putting it in Clip Mode and carrying it in your pocket to get those steps counted.

Clip Mode sounds like the solution! I'll also buy the clip when I buy the Inspire 3. Thanks for the response.

@Dadbodfit The Inspire 3 uses a spring loaded pin system to hold the band in place. Not the quickest way to change bands. I would try setting in on the Clip setting and put it in my pocket with the band on.

Gotcha. Thanks for the advice! I'll try that first before buying the clip.
