I have just had a new Inspire 3 delivered, set it up and tried it.
My normal pulse rate at rest is around 45 p.p.m. so I strapped on the Fitbit to give it a test.
The Fitbit showed a pulse rate of around 85 p.p.m., I checked my pulse with my fingertips and the pulse was 46 and I checked it with an Oximeter I bought off Ebay for £4.99 and that showed it at 45.
One hour later I was having a yearly doctors B.P., blood test etc and they recorded my p.p.m. at 46 whilst the fitbit showed 75.
What is the point of spending all this money on an expensive Fitbit if a cheap £4.99 Oximeter from China is more accurate by miles ? What other readings are way out on the Fitbit.

I agree, not accurate. Doesn't calculate steps well AT ALL.
Good for a watch I suppose!
