To better assist you, would you mind giving me more details about the issue with the silent alarms? Can't you set alarms? Are they not going off at the schedule time?

I have set an alarm, which initially was fine, but recently it has not been going off at the required time.

Mine is also doing the same. Was working fine since December. End of February started not going off even though it’s set. Deleted and reset, still doesn’t work.  Restarted Fitbit, still doesn’t work. Everything is up to date and synched… tried the steps given by moderator… still doesn’t work.

Haven’t seen a single update.    I don’t think they really give a darn.  We already purchased the product… who cares if it works right?  That’s how it appears to me. 

first they ask everyone to describe the problem then they say they are aware of it… and still no update.

Hello! I'm having the same issues with my Inspire 3! My alarm is not working (April 2023)

 

I reset the watch, and still not working.

Hi everyone. Thank you for your messages..

Please make sure that you have the latest Fitbit app installed. 

Then do as follows. 

1.  In the Fitbit app go to Silent Alarms (Profile> Fitbit Device> Silent Alarms) and Tap on a duplicate alarm (shown with a status of "Not Synced Yet"), and then tap on "Delete Alarm"
Confirm on screen and wait for the status to stop updating (going around in a circle) and the "Not Synced Yet" message disappears.
Note:
A. Repeat this step for each of the duplicate alarms with a "Not Synced Yet" message.

2. Delete unwanted alarm "Delete Alarm"> "Delete Alarm" (confirmation screen) and wait for the status to stop updating.
Note:
A. Repeat this step for each unwanted alarm (this steps only needs to be done once per unwanted alarm)


3. Tap the back arrow to return to the previous screen and scroll down and tap on "Sync Now" and wait for Syncing to complete.

4. Scroll up and Tap on "Silent Alarms" to confirm the duplicate alarms are deleted (if not, repeat work-around steps 1-4)

I have the latest Fitbit app installed on my phone but I don't have the Silent Alarms on my app, under profil > Inspire 3.

My apologies. The alarms on the Inspire 3 should be the Fitbit itself. 

When trying to delete the alarms do you see the option grayed out?

 

Please try restarting the Inspire 3 and try to remove the alarms afterwards.

I’m still having the same problem on my Inspire 3. If I make any changes to any alarms, I risk that they all stop working. This morning my alarms once again never went off. When this happens every few weeks, I have to remove all alarms on the device, add the alarm back in, then restart. It seems like I can never turn alarms on and off.

They either need to stay on or be removed and readded. I did check and I don’t have any pending software updates. 

In case it helps with troubleshooting, I noticed my onetime alarms always say tomorrow when this happens. It’s like they don’t recognize the day has changed.

I have the same problem. Alarms stopped working two weeks ago.

The software is so disappointing.

Does the Versa 3 vibrate when you achieve your goals or you receive a message?
When restarting the watch, did you see the logo apear on the display?

Yes the logo appears on restart.

The alarms were working for the first six months, then a month ago they don't work. The vibration works when getting phone notifications so it's not a motor issue. I bought this watch for this silent alarm feature – now I know it's not dependable.

I've tried removing the watch completely and unpairing and resetting to defaults, and the alarms came back for two weeks, then they disappeared again and the Fitbit doesn't sync. I've also tried deleting all alarms. I'm using an iPhone 12 Mini.

Note @JuanFitbit There is no "Silent Alarm" option in the app under profile or on the watch, I think you simply mean the standard alarm that vibrates.

For the Inspire 3, please put the alarm set up back in the app like the Inspire 2 I had. It is very difficult to use the watch to set alarms and especially to manage multiple alarms. Please!

I’m having the same problem with my Inspire 3. Notifications don’t come through, alarms don’t work. I just got my Fitbit Friday and nothing has worked for notifications or alarms. Even my “time to move” notifications don’t work. 

wish you would put those controls back in the App. They worked on my Inspire 2 just fine. Problem was I couldn’t read the display in light. So I bought the 3 for a better display; however, none of the notification features work. Not happy!

Update: after running through the reset steps and reconnecting, the vibrating alarm now works again.
