Inspire 3 battery charge not lasting

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Inspire her three Fitbit was just purchased for Christmas and already I'm having problems with the battery. It does not seem to hold its charge very long. Can someone please advise what's going on?  is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi, @Babydollsea , how long is your battery lasting?  Fitbit advertises it as lasting “up to 10 days”, however that will vary a lot from individual to individual.  I would say mine lasts more like 5 days.  Things that can affect the battery life are how many notifications (calls, texts, etc) you get each day,  How much you use the apps (tracking exercise, connected GPS, alarms and reminders, etc.). The always on display feature will, of course, have significant effect on the battery.

In any case you will get the longest life out of your battery overall if you avoid deep discharges and pop it on the charger well before you get a battery critically low warning.  Little and often is the best charging routine.  Many people find that they can keep their Fitbit always ready by giving it a few minutes every day, perhaps in the morning when you are showering or perhaps in the evening when you are settling down with a book or in front of the television.  A charging routine like that will also give your wrist a little rest and will be good for your skin.

You may find this help article on how to extend battery life helpful.

I would also recommend giving your Inspire 3 a restart .  A restart will shut down any background activities that can cause unusual battery drain.  A restart is also always the first troubleshooting step whenever your Fitbit isn’t behaving as expected.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Babydollsea. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 3 battery charge is not lasting.

Please take into consideration @Julia_G's advise and comments. Always on display can drain the battery really fast. I would also recommend restarting your tracker.
