Inspire 3 black screen

I bought a Fitbit Inspire 3 one month ago at Best Buy in Pleasant Hill, cA.  It has stopped displaying in the face.  I went into the website recommended in the instructions, they did not help but wanted me to enter my credit card # and pay $1.00 for expert support.  So then I took it into the store where the geek Squad could not help me and I could not return it because it was past 30  days.  I am now stuck with a Fitbit that is not operable.

Thank you for the information provided about this difficulty that you are experiencing with your Inspire 3. Thank you for trying to fix it on your own.

Please make sure to follow the following troubleshooting steps:

Sync the device in the Fitbit app.

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap Devices.
  2. Choose the Inspire 3.
  3. Tap Sync Now.

Check for available Firmware updates.

  1. With the Fitbit device nearby, open the Fitbit app.
    • Make sure the Fitbit device is charged.
    • Tap the Today tab > Devices > your device.
    • Tap Update (this option only appears if an update is available).
    • Follow the on-screen instructions.

Charge the Fitbit device:

  • Double-check the connection: Ensure secure connection to the charging cable and that the cable is plugged into a working USB port (computer or UL - certified wall charger).

If these steps don't work, restart the device. Keep in mind that your data won't be deleted: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
