Inspire 3 blank screen

Plse help!

My daughters inspire 3 is 17mths old. It is presenting a black screen but is vibrating. I tried a reset holding side buttons for 10secs the Fitbit logo shows but then goes black again. I read to reinstall the watch on the app but now stuck as it tells me has sent a code to the watch to install but can’t read the code as it’s a black screen.

Is it totally broken my daughter is so upset as it was her (11th) birthday present! Typical it goes wrong out of warranty! 
All advice gratefully received and appreciated.

I have the same problem - blank screen. Inspire 3 as well. Bought it 3 months ago.

I have the exact same issue (except when holding side buttons for 10 seconds while charging the fitbit buzzes but does not show the fitbit logo- black only).

Can you assist?
