Inspire 3 came with the wrong charger?

I was wondering why my Inspire 3 wasn’t charging and tried everything I saw online. Cleaned the contacts, made sure the cord was okay, made sure the plug was working, restarting it, etc. Then I looked at the contacts on both the charger and the device and they weren’t lining up.

This is the charger that came in the box. I compared it to the cord I got for my Inspire 2 and they were the same. I don’t think it would be fair to have to buy a replacement charger if it should’ve been sent with the correct one in the first place.
