Got fit bit aspire 3 - due to Fitbit charge 4 armband attachment broke off. Got 6 mos free premium. Since then aspire 3 will not sync - will not up date. Support useless - not working. Put charge 4 back on - not syncing- told them to cancel premium— can’t get it off my account- trouble started with it!! Phone on - off- Fitbit app taken off - reloaded- Bluetooth on - off- nothing works. Apple apps and Fitbit help lines useless. This is not rocket science. Want premium off my phone!!! Guess I need to delete my acct- retire Fitbit- go buy a garmin!!!

Hi there, @ingy3. Nice to see you around the Community Forums.

Thanks for the details provided in your post about the syncing issue with your Inspire 3. I understand how you must be feeling about this and the interaction with our support team. I know it seems like the syncing issues started after using your Premium subscription, but I can assure you it is not related with this feature.

Can you please confirm if you've followed the tips and recommendations provided here Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

If the issue persists after trying the above, please make sure if your Inspire 3 is still connected to your iPhone's Bluetooth settings. If it's, please try the following:

  • Unpair your Inspire 3 from your phone's Bluetooth. (Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is listed under paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.)
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Confirm you iPhone doesn't have any pending firmware updates.
  • Shut off your iPhone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Inspire 3 again.

In case you don't know how to perform any of those steps, please let me know I'll be glad to help.
