Step target stuck on zero

My daily step target has adjusted itself to zero steps. I was told to go into Activity Settings where I can adjust the target there. The option is on my wife's app, but not on mine. Both have Google phones and same app version?? Any ideas on how to resolve this. Whilst it's great to wake up to being told I've hit my step target for the day, I'd like it to be a tad higher!!

Yesterday 3/17/2025 my app was working without issue. Today for some reason my step goal and calorie burn goal have both been reset to zero and I can't seem to reset them.

If you click the 'You' icon in the lower right-hand corner of the Today screen and then scroll up until you see 'Goals', are you able to reset your goals there?

I tried that. It worked for a little bit but the same thing--the goals disappeared and now there's nothing for me to re-set. Distance, calories, zone minutes have disappeared from Goals. I logged out and logged back in. Again, that worked briefly but then everything disappeared again.  Perhaps I need to switch to my Google account?

That initially worked but then they disappeared again. Now the goals I
reset earlier aren't there. I logged out and logged back in and that
initially worked, but that lasted about five minutes and they disappeared
again.

Steps, calories, distance, active minutes do not appear as options to
modify under goals on my app. I haven't adjusted them in years so I
couldn't say how long they've been missing but it wasn't until yesterday
(now today) that the steps and calorie goals were now reading as zero on my
main summary page.

Hello @Haywooddiablo & @JJFit40

Which version of the Fitbit app do you have? Did you recently update to version 4.39?

Hi @DavidFitbit

I'm starting to see other users reporting the same issue, where goals aren't visible in the app. It seems that this problem might be related to app version 4.39

Mine gone too. Also lost active hear rate tracking. Now I  only have zones. Ugg I hate it! Any news from Google or someone on the know would be great!

Hi @RiekoC, thanks for your response. You're correct. I've had the issue since the 17th of March which is when I've noticed that the app was updated to v4.39. Highly likely that it's related to this update!

@Userpoets  and others.  Do you use Android phones?  It looks like there is a bug in version 4.39 of the Android version of the Fitbit app.  Fitbit is aware.
