Inspire 3 does not display steps > 10000

My new Inspire 3 does not display steps higher than 10000, shows some letter and garbled graphics following the shoe symbol. App shows correct number. I'm notified when reaching 10000. Ver two zero zero zero one dot one eight eight dot five eight  The other parameters are displayed correctly. Have reset tracker, re-synced etc.

Hi, @NilsRoar , your Inspire 3 will display stats differently depending on which clock face you choose.  It sounds like you have one of the clock faces that shows number of steps at the bottom, with the full number up to 9,999 but once it reaches 10,000 it will then show a number such as 10.1k (=10,100) 10.2k (=10,200), 10.3k (=10,300) etc etc.  The k stands for 1000.  (Note that in the info and pictures showing this clock face it does not indicate that it truncates your step number in this way!)

You may prefer to choose a different clock face.  If so, this is something you do in your Fitbit phone app.  From the opening, Today screen, click on the icon top left and on the next screen choose the picture of your device (Inspire 3).  On the next screen choose “Gallery” and then “Clocks” where you can scroll through the options.  Be sure you sync your Fitbit whenever you make any changes in the app.

Thanks for the answer. The 10k notation would have been ok. The Highlight clock face shows strange letters and characters that I'm unable to interpret (see attached picture). It is actually 23681 steps. 14961 steps was presented as the characters 9?
The Vogue clock face displays correctly (all digits)
Not a big issue for me,

Hi, @NilsRoar , unfortunately the picture did not come through with your post.  It might be helpful to see it, so please do try again.

Having said that, if your chosen clock face is showing weird characters, I would recommend changing the clock face and seeing if that display is normal.  Then you could try re-choosing your previously preferred clock face - effectively uninstalling and re-installing it.  That may fix the glitches you are seeing.

I just sent a picture in separate email. I have changed clock face, and reinstalled the Highlight face. Same issue.
Now the characters are x] The number should be 23928.

Hi, Nils, to add a picture please click on the camera icon above.  A dialogue box will open allowing you to choose a picture from files or to take one.  I hope that helps.

What happens if you change your language to English?

Hi, the 1924 picture should show 14761 steps, the 2114 should display 23681.

Language seems to be linked to the phone's setting. Maybe it's an issue there, but I'll leave it for now. It's more a peculiarity than an actual problem. (can be solved by walking less than 10k steps... 😉
