Twice - 7 days ago and then today - the sleeping graph only showed basic data (sleep, restless, awake) rather than the detailed chart with awake, light, deep, and REM. That is, I get this more detailed data nearly everyday but not always. I am a premium user. I have been wearing the Fitbit consistently on my wrist the whole time. Why does this happen and how can I fix it? Use Android Galaxy S20.

@midcapjsb Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Inspire 3 before reaching out. Sorry your feel that way about the last edit on your first post, we usually update subjects to keep organized the forums and help others having similar inquires.
Please confirm your Inspire 3 is not on 'CLIPPED on Body' mode. For more information, see How do I put on my Fitbit device? With that in mind, I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:
Hope this helps.

Same problem. I recently bought the Inspire 3 2 weeks ago. It gave me my sleep score for 5 times and it stopped. I had to reboot, reset, delete app every so often. It is really not worth it. What is going on?

Moderator changed the heading/subject line and now it doesn't accurately reflect my question. The heading should read Inspire 3 doesn't always track detailed sleep info.

I contacted customer service helpline and they told me I should stop using the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app. Wear it on your non-dominant hand and just go to sleep. Just bypass the feature on the app. It worked! I hope it works.

I’m looking at purchasing an Inspire 3. I have a number of old style watches I love to wear so the slim Inspire 3 looks like it will suit my requirements (I can wear it on my opposite wrist without it looking like I’m wearing 2 watches).
A bought a competitor’s tracker for a similar reason but it is now useless because the band has perished. Inspire 3 has replacement bands do that is another big tick.
Now for the big tick to seal the deal…
Will the Inspire 3 track my sleep during the day? I am a shift worker and my previous Gar*** tracker only tracked sleep at usual sleeping times.
Hoping that it does.

I wear my Inspire 3 all day. Once I took a nap and it recorded my nap session. You have to Sync your Inspire 3 on the app once you wake up. if you forget to sync, it knows what time you wake up due to your movements and maybe your heart rate. There is a setting on the app where you input your Target Sleep Schedule. I hope my reply answered your question. One more thing, I put my watch on my non dominant hand before I go to bed and switch it back.
