Inspire 3 doesn't track sleep data

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Switched from 2 to 3 in May. Doesn't track sleep. Contacted help desk and did everything they told me to do and it still doesn't work. Extremely disappointing and I wasted my money on this model. By the time the upgrade comes to me, I'll have moved on to a different brand. Tired of waiting.

Hi, @roroshapiro, welcome to the community, you may find this article of interest How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? which provides advice & guidance.

You will see that your body needs to be "at rest" for about an hour before your "Inspire 3" recognises you are asleep. The primary data stream here is your HR. I assume you have already checked that you have not inadvertently turned HR off on your "Inspire 3". From the clock face screen swipe down to and touch "Settings">swipe up to "Heart Rate" & ensure the slider is in the "on" position squeeze the side buttons to return to the clock screen. The LED should be flashing on the back of your device if you move it or place it against your skin.

If you still have a problem restart your Inspire 3

Restart.
  1. Connect Inspire 3 to the charging cable. For instructions, see Charge your Tracker.
  2. Press and hold the buttons on your tracker for 10 seconds. Release the buttons. When Inspire 3 vibrates and you see the Fitbit logo, the tracker restarted.

I hope this helps but if you are still stuck please post here again.

Cheers

Hi, @roroshapiro, thanks for your feedback. If you are a restless sleeper this might affect the recognition you are asleep. You can review your setting for sleep sensitivity from the "Today" screen on the app on your phone, touch your icon in the top left corner>app settings>sleep sensitivity>set as normal. If you have updated the app SW recently this setting may have been disturbed.

If you still experience a problem I might suggest you get a family member or friend to wear your "Inspire 3" at night to see if it records sleep.

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers
