I’ve got a Fitbit Inspire 3 for Christmas and the whole family went for a walk. My Fitbit Inspire 3 device showed almost 50% more steps than for everyone else. It’s a bit disappointing. Is there any fix for it? I am wearing it on my non-dominant wrist.

I hope you get some answers, mine does the same thing. I walked 35 steps and it shows 136 and just keeps increasing and I'm not moving, just sitting in a chair.

I am having the same issue. Let me know if you find a way to fix it. Thank you.

I just got my Fitbit and I’m having a similar issue. I work as a housekeeper and I spent 5 hours today cleaning rooms and changing bedding - my iPhone was in my pants pocket the entire time and recorded 6000 steps while my Fitbit on my non-dominant hand recorded 12,000 steps. I’m also wondering if there is a fix or some way to test which is the real number.

I have the opposite problem with my fit bit not counting all my step. Would like to learn if there is a fix or some way to test the real number
