My 1-year old Inspire 3 has box with line through it on the top of the displayFitbit.JPG

I have rebooted the device several times

Hi Annazon53!

I had the same problem with the box-with-the-line. It indicates that your Inspire 3 is not connected to your phone. If you don't care about it not being connected to your phone, that's fine. But if it's simply getting in the way, there is a way to remove it. On you Inspire 3, if you scroll up to settings and go to display settings, there is a setting called status tray you can turn off and it should go away. I hope this helps!

That is one of the new screen notification icons that were introduced with the 214.24 firmware update.

I believe that notification icon indicates that your Fitbit is not connected to your phone, but there are several reports that are indicating that these new 414.24 screen icons aren't working properly.

My battery is fully charged. This has been going on since the update. The DND is off and I factory reset it to try to clear the slash/box (with no success). It does not prevent my using the tracker, but it is annoying. Strangely, since the time rolled over to April 13th, I have not seen the slash/box. Maybe I will wake up with things magically sorted.

I had my "status" bar turned off, but I wasn't getting any notifications.  Decided to turn the status bar back on, because that's more important to me.  Hopefully they will do another update.  Thanks for the help 🙂
