After an hour at the gym my heart is pounding and I'm breathless from a hard workout, including rowing and stair stepper, when I sync my watch to my phone, fitbit shows zero zone minutes, and that my hr was in th 60s the whole time.

Similar issue here. Mine was reading below my resting heart rate at 61 for my first 10 minutes of my workout then jumped up to 140. Didnt used to do this a couple weeks ago

Yes, this is relatively new. I have had fitbit watches for several years so it's not that I don't know where to place it on my wrist! Also, I can go for the same walk in my neighborhood for the same length of time, and one day my hr is all in the light zone and the next time its all peak zone. Have you had this happen as well?

This has been happening to me and it’s infuriating! I have had other Fitbit devices before that don’t glitch like this. I wish someone had an answer!

So mine was low on battery about 15 to 20% when this happened. I charged it up and the next workout it showed better. Not sure if it goes into a battery saving mode or something. I did just return mine though, i have the charge 6 coming monday.

Yes, that happened to me too. Just last night I went for a mile run and unless I'm dying the max heart rate was 250 bpm. Then I put an oximeter on my finger and the heart rate read 150.
