Hello, ever since I got my new inspire 3, it has been incorrectly categorizing my activity and vastly undercounting my steps… I have gone for several very long walks pushing my child’s stroller, and my inspire 3 is detecting the activity as a bike ride. Eg, today I walked over 4 miles, but it shows I went for a bike ride and only got 6000 steps. It will not let me edit the activity type. How can I fix this issue?

Hi, @brennawells , it is not unusual - or surprising, if you think about it, that a walk with a push chair / stroller is sometimes mistaken by the algorithm for a bike ride - there are some similar characteristics, particularly forward motion without arm movement…
However you should be able to edit the activity once you are done, so my real concern is why you cannot edit. The usual instructions can be found here

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I can understand why a stroller might feel like
a bike, but I am still not able to correct the activity type.
I am clicking on the activity, and the pencil icon to edit - it allows me
to edit start and stop times, but not the activity type...

Am I missing something?

@brennawells Unfortunately, Fitbit/Google removed the ability to rename an activity. It’s been this way for a while now. Wrist trackers need wrist movement to count steps. Many users put their Fitbits on their ankles for long walks pushing a stroller.
