Inspire 3 is not tracking my HR accurately

heart rate reported for a workout session in the actual heart rate of the dashboard on my phone says my high was 134. For the same session, when I look at my heart rate on the exercise section of the dashboard, it says my high was 161, and reports a few bumps that look like they're over 134. I don't see any way to blow that chart up for more detail.

I was looking through posts to see if anyone has theories as to why this might be happening. It's boxing, so the watch is tightly bound to my wrist under my wrap, but given that it's the same data source, I wouldn't expect the data to be different. This isn't the first time -- I've noticed this before. It seems like a standing flaw. I'm mostly curious about which is correct. I would be surprised if my heartrate didn't break 134. I was definitely working.

Hi, @a1quino, welcome to the community, you may find this article of interest How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device? One area that may impact your graph is the sampling rate, the graph is not of a constant reading but a sample (I'm not sure what the rate is but it will be every few seconds) exercising vigorously for short spells as you might in boxing will produce very dynamic changes in the rate. I know others in the community are much more knowledgeable than I am on this subject, they may have something to add.

I hope this helps.

Cheers

Good to see you for the first time in the community @a1quino.

Thanks for sharing the details about the inconvenience that you are experiencing with your device.

I don't know if you resolve the inconvenience, but before considering other options, I would recommend performing a restart and to follow all the instructions listed in the article that @Gr4ndp4 provided to improve the accuracy of heart rate information, this has been useful to other users who have experienced something similar.

Furthermore, check the information mentioned here about other factors that could affect your heart rate reading.
