Inspire 3 is not tracking my calories accurately

Hello!! I just got an Inspire 3 yesterday and was finally able to use it at the gym. I used the treadmill for 30 minutes (on 12 incline and 3 speed), having my fitbit track it (on the treadmill setting) but something is off. For some reason my calories burned are low (159) from that exercise. It would be fine if my other app I use to track my calories said the same exercise would be 248 calories for 30 mins. Which one is more accurate?? Can I do anything to fit how low my fitbit is reading? I really hope i didn’t buy my fitbit for nothing.

Hi there, @mis1tan. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 3 is not tracking your calories burned accurately. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

I'd like to ask if by any chance, you've checked if your personal data has been entered correctly? Please note that your BMR is based on the physical data you entered in to your Fitbit account (height, weight, sex, and age) and accounts for at least half the calories you burn in a day. For more information, see How does my Fitbit device calculate calories burned?
