New fitbit, new to fitbit. I have made sure all the things are coreect; wearing it tightly, going into an exercise and having that setting on, going into the app and making sure it was on. I got a reading shorly, went off, started an exercise, finished, and i havent been able to get it working since.

Hi, @MsTouche, welcome, in addition to @JohnnyRow 's advice check the setting for "on wrist" as the clip setting disables the HR. From the clock face swipe down 5 icons where you should find "Worn on wrist". If the icon says "clipped on body" tap it to change> swipe up to & touch "yes" to confirm. The LED on the back of your Inspire 3 should be flashing.

I hope this helps, let us know how your get on.

Cheers

In Settings, there is an option to turn heart rate tracking off or on.  Make sure it is on accidentally turned off.  That would affect a bunch of other measurements also.

My Inspire has been completely wrong with its heartbeat tracking feature.  It is correct for resting heart rate but is always wrong when playing sports or working out.  Maybe it’s not designed for athletes?   In that case it should be called the Sitting Still Bit

@Baumer09  Okay, but that really is totally separate issue from topic of this thread.
