I can not get anything but the steps to register anything. What do I need to do to make everything work?

Swipe down from the clock face
Make sure it says "worn on wrist"
Swipe down until you come to the settings menu
Tap to open
Swipe up to find heart rate

All of that is on. I’ve been wearing the watch for over 2 months and everything I want to keep track of it on. I’ve deleted and or restarted everything.

Do the LEDs on the bottom of the device flash when it is removed from your wrist?

Yes. They flash. The time and date stay correct. It has picked the most random times twice to think I’m exercising though.

The last-ditch effort to get things working would be to perform a Factory Reset on the device, which should display a Fitbit logo and a message to install the app on your phone, uninstall the app, restart the phone, reinstall the app, and then complete the setup process again.

The easiest way is to put the device into the charging cradle and then press/hold the two side buttons for at least 10 seconds.
