Inspire 3 is tracking steps while driving

Hello School bus driver here. I am trying to figure out how to get a more accurate step count. I called FitBit this afternoon and was basically told I just need to wait for a new update to be released. I have tried to log activity after the fact. Driving is not a option. My husband has the same inspire 3. On his phone under his account you can log motorcycle and it will delete the steps but under my account and phone it does not do that. I am not sure what the answer is. I tried to turn off the activity detection and it still counted. Please help I love this tracker but don't like the false steps.

Hi there, @KellieB1993. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 3 is tracking too many steps while driving. I understand your concern, we are here to help you!

If the steps that our Support Team has provided did not work, please feel free to contact them back for further assistance. Since you already have a ticket open with them it'd be easier to continue the follow up on this matter with them directly. If you were advised to wait for an update, please wait for it, maybe this is why you're missing the option to manually log the activity that will help you to delete your steps.

Thanks in advance!
